Florence's sitter session
At the end of last year, I welcomed the gorgeous Florence (7 months) into my studio. She was such a happy, smiley baby and I LOVED her gallery, I couldn't not share it with you!
My sitter sessions (6- 9 months) have a vintage style about them. I source my props from independent small businesses or reclamation yards to get authentic pieces. For Florence's session, I styled these props with beautiful flowers, pearls, gorgeous curly felt furs and other textured layers. I think the vintage styled pink romper compliments this style so much.
If I was styling this for a baby boy, I'd use lots of old fashioned wooden toys and suitcases which I've sourced from a vintage company, Quirky Stuff, based in Worcester.
I normally ask parents to bring their baby in an outfit of their choice and I will happily photograph baby in their own clothes before Mum or Dad changes them into one of my outfits. Here is Florence's own outfit below. So gorgeous! I'd happily wear a cat jumper and tutu if I could!
Sitter sessions are one of my most favourite photoshoots to do. I love that their little personalities are starting to shine though. Love this cheeky smile from Florence below.
A very serious pose but this is my most favourite. I love the way she's sat, look at those little toes!
I hope you enjoyed looking through some of Florence's gallery. If you'd like to book a sitter session with me or would like more information please email me at hello@foxcubphotography.co.uk
